Virtual Reality in Nursing Education

The COVID19 pandemic has severely limited the teaching of practical skill in nursing education. Many skills cannot be practiced in home schooling settings and require alternative teaching methods. This project explores the use of Virtual Reality in practical nursing education. The project has to goals: (1) The investigation of affordable technical solutions to realize a feasible VR system that can be widely use. (2) The review of existing VR applications for nursing education that can be deployed on affordable VR hardware.
